After update, Zino will not pair to controller or show network
Re: After update, Zino will not pair to controller or show network
Did you have transmitter and aircraft on? For me it took a little time for all nearby wifi networks to show up, but they did along with "Hubsan_Zino_355F4E""
Re: After update, Zino will not pair to controller or show network
of course i have, told you, before the upgrade no connection problems, after fw update no way to connect. no wifi signal from drone.
Re: After update, Zino will not pair to controller or show network
Sorry, don't know what to tell you. Just completed first flight with .44 firmware update. Amazingly, no zinoing this time! Everything connected up first try. No control lag anymore, everything seemed to function normally except the video recording stopped half way through the flight. Glad there is an alert so I could restart. Zino landed about 10' from takeoff point.

reflashed, it seems to work for 5 minutes, then no wifi again...possibly the unit is defective, not sure upgrade is cause of the failure...

fytrjok, you did not have exactly the same issue as you had a Zino network to connect to.
fytrjok wrote: ↑Tue Dec 18, 2018 3:48 pmI had exactly the same issue. No connection during multiple attempts after installing the FC 1.0.44 update. Remembering the WIFI fix, I scanned for the Hubsan WIFI signal, entered the password and voila! It still can take multiple attempts to bind. Also, The FC 1.0.43 firmware update caused a 2 to 3 second lag between control input and aircraft reaction. This lag increased with distance although the bind was never lost. Coming from flying fixed wing aircraft, any lag is alarming. It also is becoming increasingly frustrating to have to spend time getting the transmitter/phone (android) and Zino to bind. How about coining a new term? If communication doesn't occur the first time after powering up the systems, I believe I will refer to this phenomenon as
"zinoing". As in, "Hold on, it's zenoing again. Let me reboot." I've had the Zino for a week now. Logged half a dozen flights. Very stable, I am impressed with it as a camera platform. Videos appear crisp with good clarity and resolution in normal lighting situations. Video begins to become grainy after the sun goes down. Haven't flown yet with last firmware update (.44), still taking baby steps and will report after next flights.

Please confirm you've read my original message and understand the issue.
I have video of a connection attempt: https://vimeo.com/307161031
You did not specify which method (USB debugging enabled or not) but be assured I have tried both methods.
What should I do next to try and fix my faulty product?
I am eagerly awaiting a response.
Kind regards

If all of y'all are having "no connection"issues AFTER the update, you are not opening up the file correctly. One the file is d/l,you have to click on it to see the 4(four)separate parts of the file.
Also, when you first plug the Zino into your laptop, the quad MUST install the USB port DRIVER before even trying to update. If you do so without the driver installed, you have messed up.
Once driver is installed, plug quad into laptop WITH NO BATTERY. Wait until it says connected, chose the f/c file only, not the entire folder. If you try to install the entire folder, you will brick it more than likely.

Procedure has been done correctly, its really easy by the way.
Update goes to 100% for all the three upgrade.
