Pink & Yellow Flashes in recorded video
Re: Pink & Yellow Blinking Image in recorded video
So today I shot some videos with firmware 1.0.44 (not the last one) and I still see the yellow and pink flashes, specially in fast speed and fast turns. I still dont know if this is caused by the cold temperature because yesterday I shot with less light and colder temperature and didnt get flashes then.
I just updated the firmware to 1.0.46 following every step of the video tutorial. I will fly the Zino tomorrow and come again with more info.
Any news Ailsa for this problem? I am still waiting for the email you promised...

Updated all once again and it‘s even more worse...
Just uploaded 1 min of the whole video but it‘s full of blinking and color flashes. It was cold (0 degree Celsius) today and foggy but I also had it in warmes conditions.
Very disappointed!

Wow that's horrendous!! I don't think I've ever had it that bad. I really hope that's fixable. At that rate you can't even get anything decent from it?!?JanisHemmer wrote: ↑Fri Dec 28, 2018 2:28 pmUpdated all once again and it‘s even more worse...![]()

I didn't have any good weather to fly today, hopefully tomorrow. It's supposed to be warmer so we'll see.
Does anyone else see any odd behavior below say 30-40%? Twice now it seems like it started to act up some when it had a lower battery, "overshooting" turns, etc. I bring it home at around 50% and then cruise close by until 20-30%, and it just seems slightly.....squirrely. Could be my mind playing tricks on me though...

Re: Pink & Yellow Flashes in recorded video
So this is what I found on DJI forum about purple pink flashes
" Its an issue with the camera lens, I had the same problem, $12 later the whole front camera was replaced and no more purple spots.
It has to do with the actual camera lens, it is attached with 2 screws to the gimbal arm, remove those screws and apply new thermal paste to the back of the unit.
Sorry for the late bump, just saw this in my searches."
Hubsan team please let us know if that is issue of the camera lens.

Re: Pink & Yellow Flashes in recorded video
So I think it would be wise to start posting the temperature that we're flying in. I flew in 45F today and had one "dropped frame" where I got a black screen, but only happened once in a 10 min video. No colored flashes at all. The other day I had numerous flashes and it was in the 30'sF. Same everything else (card, location, light available, etc.)
The video also tends to look more "crisp" in warmer weather. I still have yet to see ANY videos look like the ones advertised though. I'm beginning to think the videos were not shot with a Zino at all, which in an of itself feels like false advertising.....but maybe that's the world we live in?

Re: Pink & Yellow Flashes in recorded video
You all might be onto something with temperature, I live in the sub-tropics and have had no flash issues at all. Below is a quote from my Yi action camera manual and I don't see why the Zino camera would be any different.

I doubt the small Zino camera has an inbuilt heaterThe operating temperature range is 0°C ~ 45°C. If working under low temperatures for a period of time, the camera will heat up to maintain normal temperature. Under a lower temperature environment, such as -10°C, the camera may not function.

Re: Pink & Yellow Flashes in recorded video
I flew at 34 degree fahrenheit yesterday and did not have any flashing issues, nor have I ever had those kind of issues. You can see my results on the video thread. I suspect it may be a hardware issue for those affected.peterkng wrote: ↑Sat Dec 29, 2018 6:50 pmYou all might be onto something with temperature, I live in the sub-tropics and have had no flash issues at all. Re: Pink & Yellow Flashes in recorded video
I think it has to do with lens. As some people dont get any flashes. I get flashes even at temperature 50 F. In DJI forum they suggested it is due to lens. Hubsan team has yet to provide input on this issue.
