Re: No WiFi Signal from RC
When restarting the quad,you should probably restart the remote. This does seem strange tho.
Just start from the beginning.
Once you get it all linked again,and the camera is working,pick it up. Watch the bottom of app. Move the quad around and see it the numbers on bottom right of app(yaw,ECT)change. Lift it up above your head. See if height changes in all.
If all this looks correct,fly it,ignore the restart prompt.

Re: No WiFi Signal from RC
I have to restart my phone and reset debugging everytime I restart the Zino, I don't think that is the Hubsan Apps problem but my non-standard Android phone as my Android tablet connects everytime no issue.
Re: No WiFi Signal from RC
The RC of Zino drives me crazy.
In the meantime smartphone no.5 (Android 6). Like at no.3 the main menu of the app is upside down.
The USB debugging icon will appear, the app will start automatically, but I can not connect to the RC.
Meanwhile, I suspect a defect in the RC.
When trying to connect always open the WiFi settings, but there never appears a new device.

Re: No WiFi Signal from RC
It would be nice if it were so simple, but it is´nt.
In the meantime, I've found out how it works, but it's complicated.
Before starting the RC i have to start the WiFi-direct search manually in the advanced WiFi settings of the SP.
That takes about 3 attempts to success.
It would be better if the app would do that.

So the WiFi module that is built into the remote control (the white brick) will only connect to the Zino's WiFi after you have priorly searched for the Zino's WiFi via your smartphone's built-in WiFi module?
Anyway, glad to hear you've got it all working now.
Re: No WiFi Signal from RC
The crazy: Since the successful coupling it works currently completely without WiFi, even after switching off and on again all devices.
I'm curious how long this state will last.

Re: No WiFi Signal from RC
No it has just cached the previous WiFi and remembers it. Think of it this way in a WiFi computer network
Zino FC = Webpage
Zino = WiFi Access Point
Controller = WiFi Bridge
Phone = Computer on wire LAN connected to bridge
Hubsan App = Web Browser trying to connect to the Zino FC
Once you have set it all up once correctly the Network is remembered. The only issue I have is my phone keeps turning usb debugging off so I have to re-setup the phone before every use. The transmitter and zino should remember the network unless a firmware update overwrites the settings or a complete loss of power causes the cache to be wiped.
