After update, Zino will not pair to controller or show network
Re: After update, Zino will not pair to controller or show network
I had no problem this morning with out of the box set up. I’m using iPhone 7+. Updated to latest firmware and I also now have no WiFi output for network from the Zino. It’s not showing up anywhere. This is a bummer. Considering the ridiculous update process, this is disappointing. I’m going to try camera upgrade again. Anyone with a solution please post.

Use hubsan usb cord, and a direct usb port (not an hub). Try to reinstall app too.

Update. I realize that you must remove the SD card after the last two updates for the camera are done. You must throw away those files away if you want the card back for video prior to reinstall. If you don’t, the next Zino start tries to reload them and that’s what shut off WiFi output. All is working with 7+
but the cheap 99 dollar blue android I got today still says no.
Oh well, that ones fine for the Tello.

Hi there,
I have tried the upgrade yesterday and haven't flown the drone since.
Did follow the tutorial and all went smooth other than the transferring of the files to the SD card, I guess.
I did as instructed, formatted the card (extreme pro 64gb), copied the 2 files in it and inserted into the drone (without battery).
Battery in, turned on and solid red light coming from the led next to the sd slot. NO flashing light. Funny thing that the app asked me after a few seconds to format the sd card. Tried the same process with another sd card and still NO flashing light.
All the time when changing sd card and trying to bind, it asks me to format the card.
Given that I haven't seen the flash, I'm not sure if I have the 2 files installed or not.
Drone and app connect seamlessly, firmware is all up to date and gymbal status is normal.
Only thing is that I tried to do this at home and couldn't bind them as there were 0 satellites available. I understand in-house is not the best for GPS accuracy but before upgrading, satellites available were 4-5 (waiting 1 to 3 minutes).
Probably if I go out on an open field will have more GPS signal and I'll be able to bind the drone and the device but I am not sure given that the SD card section's upgrade went not as shown on the tutorial.
Looking for advice.
Thank you heaps,
Alessio
