Faulty Transmitter wont pair!

Post by BrettYoung » Wed Dec 12, 2018 10:16 pm

Order #9057

I received my Zino yesterday evening and charged all batteries

I then downloaded the app and signed in and attempted to pair the transmitter /phone as per the instructions

When I get into controls then choose "Transmitter connection- WiFi" then move on to "Set Transmitter and aircraft connection" it will not allow me to go any further,I have tapped and tapped all over that area and the little > symbol to the right and it simply will NOT go any further then there. If I select Bluetooth(Which I know is wrong) it will allow me to click on "Set Transmitter and aircraft connection and go 1 more screen but then no further. I have turned things off and on and disconnected and reconnected the little cable to the phone and even un-installed and reinstalled the app without any luck. I have looked in my phone at available WiFi connections and the Hubsan connection does show up but it wants a password to connect which I dont have.

Tonight I tried my Ipad with the same results as my iphone 6

What I did try was leaving the remote off and disconnected and got into my phones WiFi connections and connected to the Hubsan connection then entered 12345678 for a password and it connected to my phone. The GPS accuracy test comes up 5 to 10 meters with my phone sitting right next to the drone with 12 satellites or more showing which concerns me also. I can power on the motors with my phone but no matter what I do I cannot get the controller to pair.

I spent $400.00 of my hard earned money for this unit, waited a month and now all I am seeing is complaints and stories of poor customer service.
I was hoping this would be as trustworthy as both of my Hubsan H502 units.

Ailsa Help Please.

Hello BrettYoung,

For this issue ,would you mind to help us to check if the Phone battery is charing when you connect the phone with transmitter?

I note that it is not in charge when them connected in your video.

Kindly check if your Android mic cable connect right again.

Waiting for your feedback

Ailsa,

So I think I just found the issue ,It appears that it is the adapter cable (Lightning connector) for iphone)

I pulled my phone out of the case and tried and still no luck but when I push the cable into my phone and and keep pressure on it I got it to work.

I have no issues with any of my other iphone lightning cables and sync my phone with itunes on my computer pretty much every night so I beliee this adapter cable to be faulty.

unfortunately while wiggling the cable and such a bit ago and turning on the motors to idle I must have touched something on my phone or otherwise wiggled the cable when I shouldnt have while moors were at idle and I had a fly away in my kitchen destroying almost all of my propellers :o

So now I need a replacement iphone cable and also another set of propellers
