Faulty Drone unable to connect to RC/phone
Re: Faulty Drone unable to connect to RC/phone
I have exactly the same problem. After gimbal red error, the drone cannot any longer connect to the transmitter/phone.

Did the ghostly support team contact you? they have gone dead quiet with me, I-m so dissapointed with this shit. they are still selling from the web yet havent been able to provide support for the faulty ones.
Re: Faulty Drone unable to connect to RC/phone
I received an e-mail from an assistant in US(!) (I am EU customer) suggesting I should try the gimbal fix or to proceed with return/refund.
I tried to locate the micro switch to reset it but I could not. I also updated the firmware (just in case) but unfortunately the problems remain.
Connection to the wifi is not stable (you need to do a lot of restarts to achieve connection) and apart from that the gimbal does not initialize properly, the motors dont work and of course you cannot control the camera up/down (Gimbal Staus: Error 0x4 or 0x2 I ve noticed). Practically it's a hardware defect, the problem cannot be solved by my side as a customer ( I ought not to) and the drone cannot be used.
I requested return & refund. Tomorrow I ship it back to Netherlands (I informed the Netherlands warehouse for the problem and confirmed the address to return the Zino). I also opened a case in paypal for the refund process.
I also asked the sales department if there is policy to cover the shipping expenses after they certify the product is defective. Still waiting for follow-up.
That is very disappointing (non-existent customer care and after sales service). They should respect our initial trust and provide solutions to dissatisfied customers. It' s up to them whether they lose totally the goodwill or not.

Re: Faulty Drone unable to connect to RC/phone
I received my Zino yesterday and it will not pair with my Iphone 6. When I get into controls then choose "Transmitter connection- WiFi" then move on to "Set Transmitter and aircraft connection" it will not allow me to go any further,I have tapped and tapped all over that area and the little > symbol to the right and it simply will NOT go any further then there. If I select Bluetooth(Which I know is wrong) it will allow me to click on "Set Transmitter and aircraft connection and go 1 more screen but then no further. I have turned things off and on and disconnected and reconnected the little cable to the phone and even un-installed and reinstalled the app without any luck. I have looked in my phone at available WiFi connections and the Hubsan connection does show up but it wants a password to connect which I dont have.

I believe my transmitter and possibly my Drone is bad out of the box.

Ailsa,
You and your team have screwed me over once again. Promised me if the new drone didn't get shipped in 1 day I could request a refund. So what happened next? 3 days later, and after I requested the bloody refund you and your team gave me 2 different shipping numbers and one of them seem to relate to an item that is on its way to New Zealand. After emailing you multiple times you now want me to ship WHATEVER parcel is coming to my address and then grab it and send it back to you so the refund can be processed, ARE YOU F...g SERIOUS?
Does anyone know if we are protected against scams? This can be considered one.
