Re: Pre-ordered 10/3/18
They included extra props in my order, I did not order an extra set of props. I did order an extra battery but it wasn’t in the shipment.
I charged my Zino by putting USB cable in my home lipo charger that has a USB port on it also.

Re: Pre-ordered 10/3/18
I ordered additional props and battery a month after I ordered the Zino and that order says it is still being processed. The Zino came with props installed and an additional set of props. I assumed that everyone gets an additional set of props with the Zino and I am still expecting my other order to be shipped soon.

Finally Flew Zino
It’s a cold, very windy day and I just flew my Zino for about five minutes at 10 feet altitude and 5 feet away. I had to rebind it before it would connect. It was pretty straight forward except my home WiFi kept reconnecting and I had to keep switching it back to Hubsan WiFi. I was out on my driveway. Finally got it all connected, bound and synced. Started auto takeoff and Voila! It was flying. I took a pic or two and started video (not processed yet) but it flew. It flew as expected except that it was VERY sensitive to any input whether left/right, yaw, or forward/back. The only little bit sluggish control was throttle. My GPS was a good connection and showed me a great map of my neighborhood. Didn’t try anything else since the weather is so bad here. Will report more as I have it.

Was that while flying in Normal mode or in Sport/Expert mode? (the switch in the middle of the controller)

ZINO Firmware updated FINALLY!
I watched the Hubsan Firmware upgrade video twice before starting...make sure that your battery has more than 50% power to start...it's important later when you update the video firmware. Also, have your SD card handy and be ready to copy the video firmware files onto the root directory of the SD card but do not put it in the Zino until it tells you to do so at the end when you update the video.
So did my update go smoothly...NO!...but I did end up being successful.
My first problem was that the Update tool software would not "CONNECT" to my Zino with my USB to mini-USB cable. I tried everything...rebooted the computer (Windows 10 laptop), unplugged and replugged cable, re-ran software and NOTHING. I then tried another cable and it worked great! I'm lucky that I had an extra lying around but that's all it was. The strange thing was the other cable was much newer and still works charging my Bluetooth headphones. After this change, everything went very smoothly and all updates were easy. After the last update, I did what it said which was start up the Hubsan App and check the firmware updates to make sure that they were current, they were!
I then tried to move the gimbal....you guessed it, nope...tried to start the motors...nope...tried to change video resolution....NOPE!
I was about to panic and then I did what I tell everyone who relies on me for tech advice to do with their computers...unhook and reboot everything and this fixes most problems...IT DID!
I started back up and everything worked great. The gimbal was silky smooth (no flight yet), all video resolutions were there (but only when you are in video mode!), there is selection of 30fps & 60fps, also Manual mode for ISO!!!, also Auto, Daylight, Cloudy settings. I set my video at 1080P and 60fps for subsequent flights.
Now to get some flying time!
Hopefully soon, fingers crossed.
