broken camara

well i done flew my zino into a tree. flying just fine and battery got to low and it took off home but wasnt high enough and flew into a tree. the drone took it without a scrach but now the gimble doesnt work. turn it on and the camara comes up all the way and it slaps from side to side then error code 04... any thoughts

This is the problem with having a gimbal camera. They are so fragile that if you a decent crash, what hope do they have.

i know and it really sucks. taking the dog for a walk and didnt even think about the return home...what sucks is thaT I HAD TIME TO CORRECT BUT THE DRONE WOULD NOT DO ANYTHING. TRYED TO GO UP, CANCEL RETURN HOME MOVE OUT OF THE WAY. NOTHING.GOOD THING IS , THERES NOT A SCRATCHH ON THE DRONE OR CAmara and gimble. you wouldnt be able to tell. thinking about taking it apart...lol turn the drone on and do all Calibratioms and comes up with gimble error 0x4. the camara pans all the way up and stays then the gimble goes up and down right to left hitting the top. then the cam moves all the way down. theres no gears i dont think.WHEEL ON CONTROLLER MOVES INDICATER ON THE APP, BUT NO CAM MOVEMENT seems to me should be able to fix it. no obvious damage. any body at all have any sugestions , by all means please SPEAK UP... NO SUGESTION IS A BAD ONE. THANKS IN ADVANCE

Maybe the camera should have a protective cage around it. That would be a good idea for an accessory hubsan.

Have you tried recalibrating the gimbal? The positioning might be off.

Maybe the camera should have a protective cage around it. That would be a good idea for an accessory hubsan.

As soon as I get it I am going to try to model something up and 3d print a sun shade that should also work to protect the gimbal a little in a crash.

yes, ive tried to recalibrate the gimble and it says it was successful. note: the gimble cover alarm stays on ,even though the cover is off.. i wonder how the machine knows the gimble cover is on or off? the cam. itself? ther cam still works. does anyone know how to reset the drone to factory settings?

i think your on to something about the positioning being off thou, calibration doesnt fix it thou...this really blows...
