Hand take off & hand launch ?

Post by PeaUK » Sun Dec 02, 2018 2:35 am

hi Hubsan

is it possible to hand take off and hand land Hubsan drones (especially the Zino & H216A)?

(in other words, it possible to power on and power off the motors using just 1 hand?)

this feature would be very useful when flying in "difficult" situations such as long grass, dry sand, flying from a moving boat etc.

also (for flying from a moving boat), could the Zino return to the controller/transmitter?

Thanks

Thank you let for that knet :)

he did make it look easy, but it's a shame I couldn't see his other hand (or understand what he was saying lol)

Some friendly advice if you don’t have one buy a launch pad. It’s the best take off surface that I have found for folding drones bebop and Spark.

thanks Perry1, I agree with you, but sometimes using a landing pad (e.g. long grass) isn't practical.

I also have perfected hand launch and landing. This of course depends on Zino gps lock. Don’t get mines until Wednesday.

I would never take off and land any other way.

The Zino will be no different, in fact it will be easy to launch with one hand as it has an auto arm and takeoff button.

hi 501pete

great video, thanks for sharing; I loved the music too.

I think that to switch off the motors you turn the drone on it's side. Am I correct? If yes, does that not affect the drone's performance in it's next flight? (I.e. does that not mess about with the gyros and stability sensors/settings?)

cheers
