Hi all:
I've been looking at some chargers for a potential new Hubsan purchase. Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I've heard at local hobby stores, it is not only good to have an extra battery or two, but a charger that will charge them all at once so you don't have to use the stock charger the quad/drone comes with and do them one by one. I also have some small quads that use 1S 500mAh batteries. Do folks just use two chargers - one for the smaller 1S LiPo's and one for larger cell batteries, or a more capable charger that does everything? Or is everyone here just using the Hubsan charger and doing them one by one? I was going to just get a HiTec Micro X4 that does 4 1S LiPo's at once until I started thinking about larger quads/drones like the Hubsans which I understand use at least a 2S battery. I understand the HiTec RDX1 will do 2S and above, but just one at a time but they have a X4 Pro however price is $200 USD on that one. Any input appreciated.

Re: charger recommendations
It depends on how much you want to spend. EBay is a great tool to research what is out there.
Search on 2S Balance Chargers and you will find a slew of them. Most of them are only 1 output chargers though.
This is a cheap one I bought that charges 2 2s LIPO batteries from Amazon .com
$10.99 Takes 1 month to ship from China like most product from there.

This low cost charger is junk.

Re: charger recommendations
If you buy another charger than you need a charge cable also.
The Hubsan chargers charge via the balance connection, a normal charger uses the powercables and uses the balance cables to monitor the cells.
So, if you have a 2700 mAh batterypack you also need to buy EC3 connectors (the blue plug).
And, if you have one in your battery, you need to remove the battery management system pcb from your battery.
Than you can charge faster, withing 45 minutes.
At Hobbyking you can buy a charger for 4,89 Dollar, a nice charger with display is 11 dollar and a really good one (Imax B6) is 16 dollar.
