Re: No WiFi Signal from RC
make sure your usb debugging box is checked,I know a lot of people, that didn't know that,or even where it was.I know some phones, the developer options isn't listed until you unlock it....good luck!

You DO NOT......I REPEAT......DO NOT TURN on the WiFi on your phone. The WiFi you see(or don't,it doesn't matter)is from the quad to speak to the remote ONLY!!!! The only thing you have to do is connect to the tx to the phone.

All settings have been set for a long time as described (USB debugging, charging only).Hubsan-Ailsa wrote: ↑Sat Dec 29, 2018 2:52 am... Yes, Kindly note that do not to connect the Zino wifi in your phone...
Why then does the X-Hubsan app require WiFi activation of the SP?
The joy of yesterday was short-lived.
Today I needed ~ 20 min for coupling.
An eternal dance of on-off of all devices and functions until it finally worked, without I can define, which order is expedient.
This is no fun and it does not give confidence for a safe flight.

Hello diet01109,
Sorry for the X-Hubsan app don't require WiFi activation of the SP.
Just refer to Zino tutorial video and Android connecting tutorial to connect will be fine.
I still wonder why you need to the wifi activation of the SP,would you mind to record the connecting video for our better checking?Just for better checking and offer the right solution to you.

Maybe I was too impatient.
Now the coupling succeeds mostly at the 2nd start of the app.
I push away the WiFi request of the app.
So today I was able to make the first flight - with a good impression.

Re: No WiFi Signal from RC
I’ve read through alot of comments here and can see my issue is kind of the same but with an extra edge to it. I turn on my RC, then the zino. The transmitter lights just do the “search” thing and don’t go solid. I connect my iPhone to the rc via cable and start the app. It stays not connected, the remote icon does not change to relay icon or anything. I can’t see the zino wifi on my phone’s wifi search but it sees all other available wifi’s.
I’ve also tried this on my work phone wich is a 6 S Plus. I’ve downloaded all new firmware as per YouTube video so I’m now at a loss. Can anyone offer some advice please before I lose the plot!

Re: No WiFi Signal from RC
If you cannot detect the Zino ssid with any 5ghz enabled device and the transmitter cannot find it, the only conclusion is the drone is not working as it is not transmitting a WiFi access point. If after a successful updating of the firmware has not fixed it then sadly the drone maybe broken.VinceCoetzee wrote: ↑Sun Dec 30, 2018 12:26 pmI’ve read through alot of comments here and can see my issue is kind of the same but with an extra edge to it. Hi
Thanks for your response mate
Right, I’ve reinstalled the firmware again and I can now find the drone as if just flying with my phone. The only problem now is the controller still isn’t pairing with the drone. I’ve tried all ways to do this but just no joy. It just scans and scans and scanzzzzzzz. Faulty controller by the looks of things, however, a few posts say that people can can’t pair after firmware update. Maybe a controller “forced pairing” method through button sequence or something? I don’t know, a real pain this is turning into

I had problems, solved reflashing with original usb cord.
