ZINO Videos
Re: ZINO Videos
Yes they were really stressing about going to jail and never seeing their child again if they flew the drone more than 150m away.
Re: ZINO Videos
If you are a public reviewer the risk exists. Anyway me too I would like to see a range test.

Re: ZINO Videos
In all honesty, they did go about 300m in their first video. I don't think I would go out further than 500m myself.

Re the new RCSaylors video
Abby is precious! Talk about Mama Bear protecting her cub. Nate is showing the stress of sleep deprivation, too I imagine. First time parents, gotta love 'em.
Nate is defensive about promoting best practices in his drone videos. Both he and Abby are well known members of the AMA group at their flying club and probably spend a lot of time promoting their RC hobby in their community. They have a vested interest in promoting practices such as line-of-sight and flying in designated areas. They rarely post videos flying in areas outside their club's field from what I can see. Not for reviews, at least
What is the fixation on range, anyway? Depending on atmospheric conditions there should be no problem getting the promised 1000m out of either the WiFi FPV or the 5.8gHz signal from the controller. In fact that sounds conservative
