Lovin this little quad

Post by MrDronenut » Tue Dec 18, 2018 11:12 pm

:D :D :D Ive just gotta say. I don't understand all the haters on these forums. My friend and I got Zino #10 and #12. We ordered Sept 30th,so we were high on the shipment list. From day one,my Zino has flown as expected. It needed a few tweaks here and there.......and Hubsan has provided them. I can see a company hard at work to try to bring us "more bang for our buck".
I'm no expert, but have been flying quads ever since you had to build your own. No GPS,no bells and whistles. Owned everything from a Cx10,Phantom 1,P2,P2 v+,cx2p,Mavic,Mavic PLATINUM,Inspire,Ideafly,Thunder Tiger, and on and on. From my experience, most issues with new quads are mostly pilot error. Either on the ground,or in the air. Doing firmware update can be a tricky thing. Most importantly, let the quad install THE DRIVER. Without the driver properly installed,an update is impossible. Also, learn how to open,7zip,or extract different types of files. If your quad was working b/f an attempted update, and is broken afterwards,it's not the quad. It's you. If it works for the majority of the people and it doesn't for you...........guess what. You messed up.
Learn the basics b/f you brick a new quad. Don't blame the company. Pilot error ON THE GROUND.
HUBSAN,keep up the good work. I can't wait to see what's around the corner.

I agree. I've had over 20 flights with it and it's flown great. I just flew my h501ss again and I don't miss the shaky camera at all. The zino is alot more stable in the air than my h501ss. I've been 850m away and 500m up with hardly any issues. The signal isn't the best when you get past 600m and the sports mode isn't any different. But really, a reliable stable drone that takes great video and photos.

I'm pleasantly surprised that it isn't that noisy(I tested hovering at 3m for 10mins at 2315hr last night). Not much of a high-pitch swarm-of-bees tone that can irritate neighbours :)

I also traveled from South Carolina to W.Va and flew it in both locations without doing a compass calibration. No problems.
