Photo / video capture

Post by ChrisH67 » Tue Sep 18, 2018 11:45 am

Hello and thanks for adding me. I’m afraid I am a total nubie ok. I have much experience with RC cars and I got a tiny Hubsan drone years ago for indoors.
I’ve recently bought the H216 desire and love it as a starter and have had 5 flights. It came with very few instructions as does the app. I have a 16gb card in it and have viewed pictures on my laptop. How do you get pictures to appear in the app ?? It has an area saying videos and pictures but nothing ever shows up there. I’d like to have the pictures on my iPhone ideally. Also , however hard I try , I can’t register the app at all. It just doesn’t want to know !! Many thanks for listening
Chris

Hi chris. Unfortunately I don't think saving pictures and videos directly to app is an option on the H216A even though you would think it was as we see the option on our app, but as the app is used for other versions it's most likely for those.. I have tried everything to get to work but it does not..

You could take screenshots and videos and crop the navigation information, but that wouldn't be the same quality as on the card. You could also read your card with your phone, or even read the card with your computer and transfer to your phone via the cloud.

Thanks to those that replied. Seems it is a common problem and I still can’t register the app either. Also I’ve only had 2 1/2 hrs flying with no damage at all and a B motor has failed. It’s only 27 days old. Not impressed tbh but I guess it’s entry level after all
