Formatting on a MAC

Hi
just purchased the 4x H501s-s and just getting started
i have tried a couple of times to format my 32GB SD card. the base unit recognises there is an SD card but when i try to record i get neither Video or Photos.

May I know if you 32 GB SD card is the one which with class 10?

I have purchased a new SD card and it is working fine. so wont mess with it thanks
