Just started to fly with my new H123D and enjoying the speed but charging the batteries are not working as I expected.
Been flying until the beeping starts. The OSD said 7.0-7.1V.

Using the Hubsan balanced charger one of the batteries charged for 50 min and then both LED on the charger started to blink green. The manual doesn't mention what it stands for. I let it blink for 2 hours and then connected the battery to the quad. The OSD said 8.3-8.2V which is on the low side.
Could the blinking indicate that the battery need to be balanced?

For the other battery both LED on the charger turned green after 45 min which seem like a short time. The OSD said 8.4V on that battery.

Shouldn't it be closer to 8.7V with a fully charged 7.6V LiHV?

For a 7.4v LiPro 8.3 to 8.4 volts is normal (4.1 to 4.2 volts per cell) but the 8.3V battery should have gone solid green. It might just have needed more charge time depending on how low you drained it.

The Hubsan chargers are okay but if you are going to really use your X123D Jet you may want to invest in a quality(better) Balance charger like the IMAX 6A Plus for $30-$35 USD.

Hello tekman,

The battery volt is closed to the 8.7V. would you mind to fly the drone and run out of the battery then charge the battery to tell us if it still blink green?
