906a battery voltage

Post by yosemitesam » Sun Nov 18, 2018 8:26 pm

Hi folks im new to this forum, and to the world of drones. This is my first post , i hope im asking this question in the proper place. My transmitters listed voltage rating on the back says 12 volts, but my transmitter didnt come with a battery cage to connect batteries to transmitter but instead came with a rechargeable 7.4 battery. Is my transmitter operating at a less than optimal range with the lower voltage, and would a full 12 volts make any noticeable difference in say, the live video feed or how far away the drone can fly? thanks .

Hi there,
I'm also new on this forum and I suppose that it will be helpful. I haven't the response but I ask me if a 11.1v 3S LiPo can be use in the H906A transmitter without damaged it ? I think Hubsan recommended a 7.4V 2S LiPo but the batteries cage need 8 X 1.5 volts for 12 volts. So, why not a 11.1V 3S ?

Thanks for your reply and have a nice day at all !

If you google the 906a transmitter battery upgrade you will see people have successfully used the 11.1v 3s 10c Li-Po battery with same connector, i have just purchased one and will be using it in my 906a transmitter, rather do that than eat my way through a s**t load of AA batteries.
