I just bought a HUBSAN X4 AIR H501A and it works well but for two things. The return home does not work, either to the take off point or to the controller. I am new to this and cannot find a solution. It doesn't appear to be a common problem. The little arrow pointing at the H flashes like it is returning home but the distance away and altitude does not move. Any ideas?

Secondly, the camera will not take a pic or record video to a 64G SanDisk card. That seems to be an issue with formatting. I think I need to format it to Fat32.

Any help would be appreciated.

For the issue of RTH function,may I know if the drone keep 6 GPS satellites or above on the way?Besides,did the drone in GPS mode or in Altitude mode when you engaged the RTH function?

You should use the 4-32GB SD card with class 10 or above.64GB SD card is too big for the drone.thanks

I mostly saw at least 11 satellites when I did look. I do not understand the difference between GPS mode or Altitude mode so I have some learning to do. Thank you for the reply. I will learn more about these issues and see if I can figure out the problem. It seems like it should be something little that I am missing.

Thank you for this info. I will buy a smaller micro SC card and try again.

For others who may have an issue with recording and pictures; a 32 gig SD card did the trick. I am able to record video and take pictures!

The difference between GPS mode and Altitude mode is that GPS switch when up is in GPS mode, when down you are in altitude mode. This also shows up in your display. For RTH function to work, you have to be in GPS mode. Make sure you understand this well and have tested it out before going too far with your drone, otherwise you could end up losing it. RTH is your best friend!
