Help ! Defective transmitter HT011A ?

Post by emelin » Thu Aug 30, 2018 4:40 pm

I have the problem with transmitter HT011A and drone H051A. I purchase this product mid august 2018 on Amazon.fr platform.
The drone H501A works fine with WiFi and iOS App.
With the transmitter HT011A on mode WiFi or 2.4 GHz, it’s not possible arming the drone.
I have noticed on the X-Hubsan app that the R value increase alone with the left joystick in the center position. The R value is not stable and change alone (0% then -xx%), then return to 0% if i touch the joystick.
When i moved the left stick to left or to right, it does not work (R value stay on 0%).
It is not possible to make calibration with this defect left stick. Left corner is not recognize. Similar problem was related to the topic « HT011A D/R and FMD buttons ». I have upload in this topic the video with the problem.
Can you confirm that this transmitter is faulty.
Thanks for your help.

I'm having a similar problem where the R (Roll) will not rest at 0, thus forcing the 501 into an uncontrolled spin. I've tried numerous time to calibrate the controller with no luck. I've also done the compass calibration. I flew the 501 with just the phone app and it flies perfect, so I know it's not the quad. This is a brand new quad received two days ago.

Months ago a user found soldering issues inside the HT011A that exhibited the same issue. I suggest you contact Hubsan service with the prerequisite video and have warranty repair done or work thru you seller if it is Amazon or other major seller especially if it is only a few weeks old. Shipping expense back and forth on Hubsan warranty is rip off while if your cartons and quad are like new Amazon usually takes them back.

Thanks for the heads up.I did indeed order through Amazon, so that sounds like my best bet.
