Hubsan H7000
Hubsan H7000
Hello,
Other than the H109S, can the H7000 bind with other Hubsan quads?
I've seen videos that show the user controlling the H501S with the H7000.
Thanks so much.

Re: Hubsan H7000
It will bind with the whole 501 series. The H501A can take advantage of the H7000 touchscreen for waypoint missions.
I have read the latest firmware FC 1.1.46 and RX 2.1.1.50 in the H501SS will also do waypoints.

Re: Hubsan H7000
if you put the video board/transmission module from the 501A into the 501ss you can use you cell phone with the app for waypoints.you will also need the antenna.
Transmission module $72 on this site.

Re: Hubsan H7000
If your buying a new quad why not just get the H501A which is already setup for waypoints and all other things the H501SS can do. Price points are similar and in many cases less because the H501A comes with the HT011A 2.4g /Wifi Repeater Transmitter. The disadvantage of the HT011A is that it relies on WiFi for FPC unless you buy a 5.8g FPV display and it does not have switches for AltHold/Manual Modes of flight. The HT011A restricts you to GPS flights only..magicmannst wrote: ↑Tue Aug 14, 2018 9:36 pmif you put the video board/transmission module from the 501A into the 501ss you can use you cell phone with the app for waypoints.you will also need the antenna.

You can buy an H901A for under $50.00 USD to get AltHold/Manual capability and it has FPV but in your case the H7000 provides what you need.

Re: Hubsan H7000
Depending on firmware, waypoint missions still need to see connection to the Transmitter or CellPhone WiFi connection. Some firmware will terminate the waypoint mission on lost WiFi connection so the limited range of cellphone only without repeaters in the H7000, the HT005 or the HT011A can have waypoint missions terminate on Lost Connection failsafe.magicmannst wrote: ↑Tue Aug 14, 2018 10:21 pmmy point was if you have a 501ss and want waypoint feature usability.don't get the h7000 get the tansmission module. use your cell phone
I have had this happen with FC 1.1.46 and RX 1.1.50 in my H501A. You need to monitor waypoint flight with applicable controller to make sure you have enough battery to get it home and land it. On low battery FC 1.1.46 and RX 1.1.50 do not RTH mbut attempt to hover and land at location battery went low.
Sometimes the quad will fly like a brick when this occurs. I tested low battery failsafe two nights ago with FC 1.1.46 an RX 1.1.50 an when battery depleted below 6.6 volts is slowly lande from 10 meters high ( altitude I was testing at)

Re: Hubsan H7000
The h501ss with FC 1.1.50 and RX 2.3.4 will only fly waypoints if you change the camera board to the one from the H501A and use the H7000 receiver.
Obviously it can be done but will vary in cost an DIY skills.
