H122d storm transmitter, convert to mode 1 ??

Post by 153158796984846 » Wed Aug 08, 2018 2:29 pm

Decided to order the storm complete with goggles to use with my 501a also , but have got used to mode one since I bought my advanced transmitter h906a .

I've noticed the transmitter for the storm is preset to mode 2 and seen no mention of wether it can be converted to mode 1 .

Also can the h906a be used with the storm and use all features such as flips and turn front light off

Thanks for help storm is arriving later

I may be mistaken but the H906A should work with the H122D but you may not be able to use the HV002 googles at the same time.

I also cannot tell you how to perform stunts with the H906A!

To get into mode 1 stick configuration Hold left stick to upper left, right stick to upper right, power on transmitter, then rotate each stick 2-3 times. (Message should show Calibrate sticks, press a trim button to end.

To get into mode 2 stick configuration Hold left stick to upper left, right stick to upper left, power on transmitter, then rotate each stick 2-3 times. (Message should show Calibrate sticks, press a trim button to end.

To get into mode 3 stick configuration Hold left stick to upper right, right stick to upper right, power on transmitter, then rotate each stick 2-3 times. (Message should show Calibrate sticks, press a trim button to end.

Hope this answers you question and works for you.

Hello ,

Sorry the H906A can't control the H122D.

You should find a Mode 1 transmitter with no-center position throttle to control the H122D storm.thanks

If the H906A was in Manual Mode then center position throttle would be nullified or are you saying that the actual joystick cannot be in center position?

She means that the H906A is not to be used with the H122D. If you wanted to fly in mode 1, you'd have to use an entirely different transmitter altogether (because the manual throttle on the H122D's proprietary transmitter is on the left hand side, not right).

I believe it's possible to set the proprietary transmitter to Mode 1, but then you'd have the issue of the self-centering joystick being in the way. That and the manual joystick being on the wrong side.

Thanks all for replies , I've decided to return the complete package as I'm not finding the goggles comfortable to wear , also you cannot bind the screen to the 906a controller to use on my 501a and get telemetry info
You can get a picture by setting to the correct channel but have to remove goggles to check height and battery level etc

I believe you can bind standard trans to it but not advanced unless I need to update firmware in trans (it's on .09 at the moment )

Think I'll be better getting some smaller goggles with a video input to run a lead from the advanced transmitter and then get all info , anybody recommend any
