What does the GPS accuracy test test?

I wanted to test my H501M with waypoints today but the accuracy test failed.
Yesterday it passed, so it can work.
I was in an open field with just a few small trees a bit further.
On the X-Hubsan app it showed between 9 and 12 satellites.
I have a GPS test app on my phone and that gave 7 satellites.

But what is the test doing exactly?
Does it look where the drone is or where the phone is?
Or does it look how far the distance between the phone and drone is?

It is quite annoying if you see so much satellites and it still doesnt pass the test.

Maybe some developer can answer this?

Hello,for the accuracy test,kindly follow the reminding showed on the phone and walk around then you can pass the accuracy test successfully.

OK, so than it looks at the distance between the drone and the telephone.
I want the technical answer, i want to understand how it works.

Accuracy test is buggy. very often It never accept the accuracy unless restart the app again and again. It reduces the motivation at the begining of flight. Takes time to hang on this problem. I think accuracy test is ponitless should remove this test.

May I know your phone model number?The GPS accuracy test pass time has something to do with Phone model number and local interference.
