Range question for H906A vs HT011A ?

I am thinking of buying an H906A with LCD to augment my HT011A and get rid of the HS001 that doesn't really stay locked with FPV. The HS001 either goes black or has so much static that it is virtually useless.

The H906A will let me determine the rssi from my H501A as an upside(and tell me if transmitter board is good) but after doing some basic research I see that the published range for H906A is 300 meters while the HT011A is 400 meters with the H501A. :o

This leads to questions.

1) What is the real world range of the H906A? :?:
2) What is the real world WiFi range of HT011A? :?:

It may not make sense to spend $81USD or thereabouts for an H906A if range is less than or equal to HT011A especially since you loose some convenience of one key takeoff and waypoints? Plus you really need to buy either a 7.4v or 11 volt lipo for the H906A. If the HS001 worked with the HT011A then it would be the HT011A IMHO

Any comments?

Hello,

H906A transmitter 's 2.4G range and the HT011A 's wifi range or 2.4G range is both 400 meters.
HT011A is the latest transmitter we launch, which has more function than the H906A.

You can use the H901A battery for the H906A transmitter.

Ailsa thank you for the prompt answer, It's appreciated.

I think I'll stick with the HT011A. With both 2.4G and WiFi and H501A supporting 5.8G video feed, the included lipo, the waypoint function, ease of binding, 3 flight modes, RTH,Circle, Follow, photo, video and LED Buttons make it a useful and user friendly transmitter. If 5.8G FPV is needed a working HS001 FPV display with telemetry (or aftermarket) is more cost effective than buying another transmitter and battery. :!:

Whomever designed the HT011A did a good job, :!: :geek:

Thanks again for quick response.
