I'm tempted to get the hv002 goggles for my 501a but would need a transmitter as I bought it with a relay
I can get the h122d racing drone (which comes with goggles and a transmitter) cheaper than buying transmitter and goggles separately and it is in stock
My question is will the transmitter that comes with the h122d work ok with the h501 it does look the same
Thanks

The transmitter that comes with the H122D Storm I believe is the HT015. Aircraft + HS001+ HT015 Transmitter+HV002 Video glasses.
I believe the transmitter will work with the H501A since it is a 2.4Ghz transmitter but will not have the RTH, Headless, orbit and follow buttons the HT011A has. It also will not have the range of the HT011A.
An HT011A is about $59.99 - $69.99USD on Amazon and eBay while you can get the HS001 and HV002 from Amazon still for $45 for a total approx of $115.99 while the H122D Storm with Aircraft + HS001+ HT015 Transmitter+HV002 Video glasses retails for $139.99 USD. $34USD for the extra Drone is not a bad way to go but again you will not have the same range with the HT015 as with the HT011A from what I can tell.
The H122D and HT015 are rated at 100 meters while the H501A and the HT011A will take you out to 400 meters. I have had mine out to 400 meters using the HT011A integrated WiFi relay.
I have not been able to get solid FPV on my HS001 yet no matter what the range.
Good Luck

Thanks but I'm in UK and the hv002 is £69 and ht011a also £69 but the d122 storm is only £105 so I was saving and getting a free quad

but with all those limitations it might not be worth it .

No Amazon.com in the UK?
