just purchased a new H501ss and am experiencing problems with circle me and follow me

neither of them work
long press of the Video button just stops the video and downward press of rt stick shows follow me mode but the drone does not move.

tried taking GPS mode off and the drone just started flying away

Hi ya, make sure you keep the gos on. But also make sure you put the drone to its recommended height and distances for the modes, it should pop up on the screen before you activate it.

i have made sure distances were ok and follow me will work intermittently. cant say i like having to depress throttle while pressing down right stick to enter the mode but can not get circle me to work at all

If not mistaken there is a height limitation for these to work. If you are too high the initiation of this option will cancel. It will also cancel if you use the joysticks to adjust height or direction after starting either one of them.

Try flying H501S 10 meters away and no more than 20 meters high in a clear field to test again.

My H501A followed and circled me at 10 meters and 20 meters high until I moved the sticks.
