H107D+ Barometer Issue

Post by KevC » Wed May 30, 2018 3:12 pm

I have two H107D+ Quad copters. They were great when I was first learning FPV and I want to loan them to my nephews to learn. Problem is, once I bind either one and activated the motors it goes up and up and up. I bring down a few feet off the ground, let go of the throttle and the same thing happens. Same problem indoors or outdoors. I tried putting in down trim on throttle, that had no effect. Ideally I would like to disable this function and handle the height manually.
I can solder, program, whatever it takes. Is there a way to get this issue resolved. I attached a video to the hubsan faebook page showing the problem. It's a .mov so I am unable to attach it here.

Hey! Sorry for the late response- one of our reps on Facebook responded to your wall post. She could not find the video you mentioned, though. Could you link us? We'll need to see the response on the aircraft as well as the transmitter screen.

Did you change the new propeller to fly the drone? If it is still going up?

What new propeller, what are you talking about. This is brutal, I just want to know how to fix or disable the barometer
, please just give me an answer. Two H107d+ doing exactly the same thing, what the heck do the props have to do with it.

Usually, one replaces the entire motherboard, unless you have a newer version of the H107D+ (the barometer board will be a piece separate from the motherboard). Could you confirm whether the aircraft's LEDs come on one at a time in a clockwise fashion, or if three come on at once, then the forward LEDs flash alternately?

Thanks Anne.
When I hold the button to turn on the quad, all four lights come on one at a time counterclockwise. When I release the button, the front two leds flash.
Once I bind to the radio, all four leds go solid.

Please let me know the cost for a new barometer or motherboard once you know the version I have.
I can do any required soldering if needed.

Thanks Again.
