Hi, (Hubsan H216A No Headless Mode & Video Footage frames/Lose)

Post by clustermarc » Mon May 21, 2018 3:49 pm

Hello Everyone. :)

My name is marc, i recetly bought a H216A which i must say i am loving it, it is turning out to be a great drone for me to learn on, its super easy to fly but also fun..

One thing i am finding a bit confusing though is that the website and the box says the H216A has headless mode but i can not find it in the X-Hubsan app anywhere, does the drone have headless or not? if it is a hubsan missprint and the drone does not have it, i dont mind but would like to know for sure, apart from that though the app works great and i love how the drone flys..

Also when i view my flight footage that i have saved to the mirco SD card, the flight footage is skipping a lot of frames, well not even frames as such its losing footage, every 10 seconds or so it loses a good few seconds of footage, this is quite annoying as i was hoping to do some nice flight footage..

Any advice anyone can give i would be very grateful. i like forward to talking to you all.. :D
All the best, marc..

Hello. On headless mode- you should see a compass-like symbol on the upper right hand side of the flight interface. Beside it, you should see the T, R, E, A telemetry symbols. When you have 6 or more satellites on the aircraft, you may tap that symbol to enter Headless Mode.

Video skipping: Formatting on the SD card needs to be redone.

Hi all, i thought i would give a little update..

since changing the micro sd card to a class 10 80mb/ 16 GB samsung card the video recorded footage no longer skips frames, it works flawless, also after the help from Hubsan-Anne i found the headless mode and although ill never use it, it works fine..

i am super impress with this little drone..

HAPPY RC-ING ALL..
