Post by hitemstr8 » Wed May 16, 2018 8:00 am

The camera on my h109s worked fine when I first got it but now it takes forever to get it in standby mode (blue light) Ive unpluged the mini usb and plugged it back in and charged the camera properly but cant get it in standby mode very often, Any ideas?

Hello, Thank you for contacting us. If you are not receiving the blue light for standby mode, then what light are you getting?
Or is there is no light at all? Anything flashing? Please advise.

The power button turns on the camera red-blue light comes on. Mode button does nothing at all. It used to go to blue so I could have fpv on the screen and film. Now just can never get a blue light. Is this more likely a camera issue or something in the drone.?

Is the red and blue combo light flashing or solid? If it's flashing, is the flashing slow, or is it fast?

When I power it on the red-blue light is solid. The mode button does nothing to change anything. Power button works but only gives me the red blue solid light. It used to go blue to indicate standby mode. Ive unplugged the micro usb cable, plugged it back in, charged the battery but the camera only comes on. No fpv or no way to take video or pictures.

If the red-blue light is solid it usually means the camera is bad especially if you are not getting FPV.
Have you tried check the the gimbal movements without damaging the gears to see if the gimbal is rotating correctly?

Yes the gimble works fine. I have ordered another camera I'll let you know when I get it if that indeed fixes the problem. I love the drone but this camera issue kinda limits what I can do with it for now. Thanks for your help.

I got the new camera and everything works fine now. So the old camera was indeed faulty. Is their anywhere I can send it to get repaired? I bought it from Gearbest in Feb. of this year. Or is their a possible simple fix I could do? I see two screws under the battery?

Great, Thank you for the update! We have a repair center in the United States, we would need to inspect it in order to determine if we can repair it or if covered under warranty. Where are you located?
