As I stated in earlier posts, I purchased a H501s drone with standard transmitter from Gearbest and received it on 6-23-18. One week later the FPV began to flash off and on and horizontal static lines appeared on screen. Not local interference. I tried other flying sites. I contacted GearBest and after many useless back and forth communications, they basically told me to take a flying @#$% and with their offered $25 credit, I could buy a new drone. After my experience with GearBest, I ordered and installed upgraded 5.8GHZ panel and 2.4GHZ mast antennasfor controller to see if this would help. It didn't. I also added prop guards to drone. Drone visually flew perfect, recorded video was fine. Only FPV unusable. MY INSTALLED ANTENNAS AND PROP GUARDS DID NOT CAUSE OR ADD TO PROBLEM! Mention the word "warranty" on forum and you won't hear from Hubsan again. After receiving no help on the forum from Hubsan, I called service and told them the whole story. Their decision: I added antennas on controller, warranty voided on controller, I added prop guards to drone, warranty voided on drone. There was no discussion. I read where Hubsan required you to go thru the vendor first. I did. Then, because they care about their customers, they will work with you to solve your problem. They won't. Hubsan will utilize every possible excuse to void your warranty and bill you for repair. Not to mention the $50-70 dollars I must pay for shipping and insurance there and back. Repair could cost more than its worth. As the drone still flies fine, video recordings are fine, I will eat the expense, try to fix the drone myself, fly it till it wears out, and never again buy another Hubsan product.
