Congrats justjarhead. Its not the shipping, its the principle.
I will be sending my h501ss with the FPV problem , almost from birth, to Hubsan for repair. It won't be covered by warranty. As I wrote in my post, I upgraded antennas to see if that would correct problem after GearBest would not honor warranty after one week of use. Now Hubsan tells me that because I upgraded antennas, that voided warranty on controller should the problem be there whether antenna based or not. Come on. They can tell if I screwed something up by upgrading antennas. Next I was told that by installing prop guards on drone, I have voided warranty on that also. I think it would void warranty if you wrote your phone number with a magic marker on either one of these products.
Advice to New Hubsan Owners: Don't touch, write on, leave fingerprints, or fly your drone until it is out of warranty. You will void your coverage.

Kind of sucks Bob. How do they know who you are other than by email address. I would say create a new identity but that is immoral. They implied in their responses to you to try new antenna's and changing antennas on the xmitter should not affect the drone but then they get you with prop guards and such. Seems that if you sneeze, fart on them or touch a screw your fubared. Sorry to hear you are having problems with FPV like so many others. It is a common problem and my H501A also has fubar FPV which I verified with a 23 rssi reading at < 5 meters on a H901A I borrowed but frankly I am better off changing the xmitter board on my own vs.warranty and paying to ship both ways.Only problem is I void the great(not) warranty doing this My seller will not replace the transmitter board either. So I will not get 1000m out of WiFi FPV but at least I can get 300-400 meters on WiFi and I bought it with a 50% off bid.BobDrev wrote: ↑Thu Jul 26, 2018 9:02 amCongrats justjarhead.
