Problem removing 'A' propellers

Post by coloretiree » Sun Jun 10, 2018 1:16 pm

I just received my first drone, an X4 H216A Desire Pro, which came with the propellers already installed. I read the enclosed instructions (Appendix, 2. The Propellers) but ran into a problem when I tried to remove the propellers for the purpose of putting on the propeller guards. The 'B' propeller's silver screws came out normally for right handed screws (ie counterclockwise to loosen). But both the black screws for the 'A' propellers refused to move when I attempted to loosen then in the normal fashion for a left handed screw (ie clockwise to loosen). I applied as much torque on the screwdriver as I felt safe, but the screwdriver simply disengaged from the screw.

Is there some trick to getting the 'A' screws out or do I have a defective drone? Thanks for any advice you can supply.

According to your description ,it's the right way to loose the screw .Have you tried to observe that if the screws is wearing when you loose it?

had the same issue with the same drone ended up rounding off the screw had to take it back to the store who managed to remove it after using a mini saw to cut the top of the propeller finally had to use a flat head screw driver to remove it . has to be a design fault.
