Transmitter low voltage

I have a H501s with the 'advanced' transmitter. I have a 3s, 2200 mah lipo battery on order to replace the AA battery pack, but it's not here yet. So, I wonder, what is the minimum voltage for the transmitter to reliably operate? I've flown several flights and the resting battery voltage on the transmitter is 10.5v. What is the voltage level that will drop contact with the copter?

Lipo battery we recommend 7.4 Volts and No more then 11.1
Output and Capacity don’t matter. However, the voltage ratings do matter.
If you use Lipo Battery below 7.4 Volts transmitter won’t turn on and not recommended.
If you use Lipo Battery over 11.1 transmitter will burn motherboard.
For the standard transmitter H901A Lipo Battery should be precisely 7.4 Volts.
Both should include JSD adapters.

If voltage over 11.1 volts would burn the board, would not new AA batteries do the same? A new AA voltage is about 1.6 volts. So 8 in series yields 12.8 volts. ??? Seems a 3s lipo at full charge is about 12.6 volts so the new AA would be a worse scenario - What do I say is wrong? Note that I have an advanced transmitter, not the standard.

The volt of the Lipo battery is different from the volt of the AA battery.
We recommend the Lipo battery which range from 7.4v-11.V.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have a 3s, 8C lipo battery coming. From what you tell me, I should be okay if I do not charge this battery over 11 volts and recharge the lipo when voltage dips to 7.4 volts. Is that correct?
