If the truth is that the manuals are very bad.justjarhead wrote: ↑Mon Jul 30, 2018 5:37 amI would say in 2.4g mode but frankly I don't know since I have not needed to do this and the manual is as clear as mud.
Try it in 2.4g mode since it says to use the stick. If it goes into stick calibaration I assume the Quads Led or the HT011A will beep.
I'll try to do it tomorrow. I'm going on vacation and I will not use the drone until September.
Thanks again, I'll tell you the proof

Calibrating sticks seems to work as described in earlier post while in WiFi mode but set to use controller. Left stick up to the right.rudaondo wrote: ↑Mon Jul 30, 2018 5:47 amIf the truth is that the manuals are very bad.justjarhead wrote: ↑Mon Jul 30, 2018 5:37 amI would say in 2.4g mode but frankly I don't know since I have not needed to do this and the manual is as clear as mud.

YOU will see the LEDs blink until you release left stick.

Re: HT011A D/R and FMD buttons
ruduanno,
Based on the video you posted on google it looks like your HT011A has a major problem.
In the video the stick position where non zero when stick were left in idle default positions. When full left stick applied reading was either 0,100 or -100 for right stick position as displayed on APP. Also what is pointing to HT011A is that using the APP sticks everything flies correctly.
Since you are on vacation I will post a link to the Video you shot so Anne or Ailsa can look at and share their opinions.

Re: HT011A D/R and FMD buttons
Hi folks,
I'm looking for some help for the same issue. My H501A X4 after some flights started to rotate horizontaly after take off.
In fact it started to do it during a flight.
I've tried some different things to fix it but whithout success.
Has somebody gotten a solution for this problem?
I've attached a video from my H501A rotating after take off (sorry for the video quality). I'm not touching the sticks in a way that makes it rotate like that. I'm just controlling its altitude pushing the throtle stick down.
Regards

Re: HT011A D/R and FMD buttons
Hello,
If this statement is still true and this does not happen when flying with the APP and you're using the control sticks within the APP and not your HT011A control sticks then you have a bad HT011A Transmitter.
Send a revised video (see below) (you don't need to zip it), to service@hubsan.com along with these comments
Make another video showing you using the APP and its control sticks and proper flight. Show the APP and use of its control stick working fine.
Revise this video, show flight with the HT011A control sticks and send it in showing the constant rotation.
Describe that this rotation only happens when using the Control sticks on the HT011A and does not occur when you use the control sticks in the APP so rotational calibration of the H501A is ok.
Send them your name, address, and proof of purchase with seller name, date of purchase, and the fact that this has been present from day 1. Ask for a warranty replacement of the HT011A controller.
Hopefully they will solve your problem. I have found service@hubsan.com very responsive when you email them and support your problem with factual information like you have just shown.
Good luck,
Jim

Re: HT011A D/R and FMD buttons
Hi Jim,
Thanks for the information.
I'll fly it using only the app and record a video to show you. I hope you are correct because I've just bought it (07/26/2018).
If I can confirm that the problem is with the transmitter I'll contact Hubsan support and try to get a new one.
Best regards.
Marcelo Ramos

Make sure you send email to service@hubsan.com for prompt followup. Show flight with APP and the HT011A and the rotation and the procedure you followed to calibrate the HT011A stcks. Also take pictures ofLEDs on HT011A whn rotating on itself.15342881432597 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 22, 2018 10:26 pmHi Jim,

Good luck.
If they want you to sepnd money on shipping you might want to look into an H901A which allows flight in AltHold and manual modes with a bulilt in 4.3 inch FPV display. It can be purchased for arounf $45USD to $49.99 on eBay with a Make Offer and is a lot more fun to fly with IMHO. Spending money on the HT011A is a bust. See if they will credit the ost of the HT011A for an H901A. I doubt it but hey it never hurts to try.

Re: HT011A D/R and FMD buttons
Hi Jim,
I think you are correct about the transmitter.
Today I flew my drone using only the app and it worked very well. No horizontal rotation after take off.
I'll contact Hubsan customer support about the transmitter. Let's see what they can do for me.
PS: I'm not getting a video file size that I can upload here to show you. I'll find out how to reduce the file size and upload it here.
Thanks again.
Marcelo

Re: HT011A D/R and FMD buttons
Have you tried doing a Stick calibration on the HT011A. To do it Turn off WiFi App and make sue HT011A reverts to 2.4g LED On. If off rebind the HT011A per the quick reference.15342881432597 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 23, 2018 10:17 pmHi Jim,

Next with APP still off:
1) For Mode 2 Stick Calibration Hold LEFT and Right Sticks in upper left corners.
2) Power On the HT011A while holding sticks up in corners.
3) Once Transmitter is powered up rotate both sticks 2-3 times to calibrate the full motion range and then release.
4) Long Press the LED button to complete the calibration. It should Beed at you.
5) Fire Up the APP and put the APP in contoller mode (HT011A) by clicking the controller ICON so that the virtual stick do not show up on screen.
6) If Calibration was succesfull, the E: and A: and T: an R: values should be at 0 and track with the HT011A stciks as you move them. Left Stck moves T & R values while right stick moves E and A. Full stick movement up and down is +- 100% in Senior Mode. Keep stick centered when moving them. If off axis you will see less than 100% stick movement. To see stick movement before satellites hookup or motors are armed hit the quad icon and select F. Remember in setting to turn "take off only when GPS signal is well to Yes" so you don't accidently arm the motors.
This may take care of problem. If not shoot a video of the procedure I outlined above and at end show Hubsan the APP screen and how it tracks the HT011A sticks after calibration
Good Luck
A Very Unhappy Hubsan Customer
