Dear Forum:

I have a drone H216A, and I want to know if it is posible to extend the range of the signal.
I have opened the FPV HT009, and I didn't see where is the antena into the circuit.
Sorry for my english, I´m from Argentina.

If is possible to that??, show me how to do it.

Or How can I get the FPV HT011A, because I see is more complete, and have an external antena

Jorge,

I believe that the HT009 is a WiFi controller that works in conjunction with your Wifi H216A Quad so it does not have a traditional antenna.

To extend range you can go with the HT011A controller but range may be limited to under 400 meters depending on the WiFi signal from the H216A.
Flight with the HT011A will be identical to your HT009 only with a better controller with extended range.

The antenna on the HT011A is for it 2.4g signal and does not apply to WiFi APP flights.

The HT011A has an integrated WiFi relay that does extend typical WiFi flights considerably and can be bought on the internet in the US for under $50 USD. I don't know what Internet sellers sell it for down there but it can be purchased from Hubsan as a spare part.

By the way your English is very good :D

Where is the HT011A under 50 USD?
I haven't seen it cheaper than 58 USD and than you also need to buy the battery (7 USD).

You can extend the wifi range with an repeater.
I tried it and it works.
I bought on Aliexpress a Xiaomi Mi repeater 2 for about 8 Dollar, you plug it in a powerbank and than it is portable.
You connect the phone via the Xiaomi Mi app, than you put the drone on and connect the wifi to the repeater.
The distance gets really big than, 200 meters is no problem, i even saw people on Youtube getting 5 to 600 meter.
