Dustin's Crash

Post by ECA77 » Tue Nov 20, 2018 1:26 am

I thought I would open this up to keep the Zino video thread clear for video posts.
While his video shows the shortcomings of not implementing an optical flow sensor or a sonar type of sensor for low flying, it is a normal behavior of a quad to do this. With very little practice it can be avoided.
Let's not forget, this drone is for aerial photography and not drone racing. I know the Zino isn't perfect, but it ticks all the right boxes for me as far as performance, portability, and low cost to fly.
I am really looking forward to flying this soon.

Agree. But of course it will be much better if there is optical flow sensor. Or i hope that it can be corrected in firmware if can be corrected.

i agree too.

also, i prefer this price point instead of optical flow &/or collision damage sensors and a much higher price.

on the plus side for me (new to drones), i could never afford a DJI so i dont know what I'm missing lol.....

but seriously, if Hubsan keeps the price low (and keeps batteries etc low in cost too), the drone videography market will grow with a much larger target audience.
