Well finally an update! This is hardly "Shipping on October 30th" though. Why on October 30th were you still advertising that they would ship on October 30th if there were none ready to ship? If I am translating the message correctly 62 are heading to a warehouse today to then be shipped out from there, 100 the next day and then 100 per day until the 1000 are sent out? So are we looking at the end of the month before most of get ours? I think most of us believed that 1000 were on there way to customers as of October 30th as stated and we might be seeing them soon.

This message is confusing. They need to use a proper English speaker to make announcements. The whole 1000 will be shipped by the 15th of November then? So that must mean that if we get our drones by the end of november we've done well. I'm not going to think about it anymore. I'll focus on my h501s and when it happens, it happens.

I'll stick to my prediction that I'll be taking videos no earlier than Christmas!

Thanks for the update Hubsan!

It would be nice to hand off to an accomplished English speaker so that the nuances of language don't confuse us.
I am not surprised or terribly upset because this is a new product and production is never an exact science. Between engineering, actually making the product, marketing, and guessing, it's pretty amazing that Hubsan is this close to projections...of course...I don't have mine yet :)

Good to get some response, explaining the delay (somewhat). I actually emailed sales@hubsan last night, and got the following reply this morning.
Pretty quick turn-around for an email inquiry, IMHO.

It is disappointing to have to wait so long and it would be a great act, if we could get a small compensation, like a second LiPo for a fair price :D

totaly disappointed on 30 november the Zino it will be official on all store of the world..this is a bullshit..because i buy for preorder and i buy without know anythink about this drone..i make a blind what about? i buy from official site in a blind mode i give trust and i pretend there is respect..we are movie production and we make review also for tv and a lot of stuff, im disappointed because this is not a way to make business..we pre order the blackmagic camera and we get the day they say..blackmagic say you make preorder? then your product on 1 november it will be at your home and this happens..the zino say 30 october start shipping..we are on 6 november and nobody get this drone and now i will wait the 15 november for hope my drone it will be shipping..rediculus..

I finally got a response from Hubsan but instead of a personal response about my order it was another generic response about all the orders. No indication of whether they will give us tracking numbers or where my order is in the 40 they send out today or the 100 they say they are sending out tomorrow. They did indicate that the first batch to be sent was today not 10/30 but they also said they will be sent from a USA warehouse which is good news. They also mentioned 9/30 which may mean was the first day they got orders. Still disappointing but it is turning into a mystery with clues being issued each day till it is solved. Here is their email.

Your order will be shipped from US warehouse and today we will ship the first parcel goods about 40 piece to US warehouse
Tomorrow there will be another 100 piece ship out
Sorry for the delay in the dispatching ,or orders placed on September 30 ,so it can will be ship in priority
All the orders will be delivered in turn according to the date of payment
