Would like to see camera be moved left/right and up/down to see what it can do. Also fly further away.

It will probably not be able to turn left and right, just up and down from the controller. Of you look at the manual there is only one adjustment for the gimbal on the controller. Yes probably true or it would have been advertised more that way. Moving up/down is really why I bought it...so as long as it does that and has a good and stable video picture and platform I will be happy. I'm not sure about the wifi connection business, never had one of these yet so jury still out on that.
