Hello Stephen,

We sincerely apologize for the shipping delay.

There are some firmware updates currently being done which is holding off the shipping time.

We are making sure the end user will be receiving a great product with all the wonderful features.

We will update you via Email with an update before shipping.

Unfortunately we are unable to give an exact shipping date as it depends on all firmware updates to be completed.

We hope to get your kindly support.

Thanks,

I'm curious when it will finally arrive.

@howzow
Thanks BTV, a most useful post. I'm encouraged that mine might arrive someday and, with firmware updates, will prove to be a good drone. It does seem that Hubsan opened up the ordering process a bit too early.
I look forward to your videos.

In case some one don't know, there is a topic for the Zino Mini Pro on RC-Groups forum with lots of usefull information at:
https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?3878817-Hubsan-Zino-Mini-Pro-249g-and-Zino-Mini-SE

I'm cross post the link for this forum there too.

Moin,

there were firmware updates on both remote and drone to be made right when I started everything for the first time. There wasn't even an option to skip it, which might be problematic maybe in some cases: Try to imagine you go somewhere, where internet connection is poor, and you would have to download some mb. But anyway, I don't understand that they might have lowered the delivery speed because of firmware updates. We users would have to do it anyway someday...

One more remark: When the drone arrived, the propeller blades have been missing. So I contacted Hubsan, requesting the missing parts, which is now going in round 3 or 4 because of a quite bizarre conversation. It started with "send us the video", and I guessed they want an unpacking video. Strange enough, what if I wouldn't have put my gopro on a headband on my forehead while unpacking? -Asking whether they mean an unpacking video, they made sure they want one, so y'all be prepared to record your unboxing process right from the opening of the package, since my drone came unsealed. Also, someone must have flown or activated it already since there were data on the memory, which I accidentally erased at the beginning by formatting the memory.

So, my unboxing took like 20 minutes......., filmed in 4k, I had a quite huge "the" video to send it to China. ;) Impossible to do so, I provessed it uncut in my cutter program by speeding it up partially to 20 times faster, only keeping normal speed at the important moments, like all openings of package, drone box, drone bag, etc., and this video I uploaded on my yt channel as a private video to provide them with a link, instead of sending them 4GB on boring unpack porn footage.

An answer came yesterday: "Hello there, i will try to open the link and then reply to you, thanks."

:o)
They had the time to confirm that they got the link, but no time watching it? Maybe because it was Friday in the afternoon??? ...strange.

Anyway, doesn't stop me at the moment to collect more experience flying it. Obstacle avoidance is neat in unknown environment, but nerving like crazy in narrow places where you try to train your skills by slow maneuvres, the controller (not the drone) beeps the whole time like a garbage truck while backing up, sounds like on a construction site here at home when I fly it in my garden. Those sounds could be really more decent for people with a normal hearing ability...

hey

I also received an answer that it will be sent from 08/25/21. I wrote about the updates that they are coming anyway so no reason for me. I will take to heart the unboxing video as soon as I finally have the part.
yes i think obstacle avoidance can be annoying in the garden πŸ˜€

Hi there, thanks for sharing!
I have an issue with my Hubsan Zino 2 camera settings:
Each time drone reconnects camera always drops to 4K 60fps mode and watermark ON. I’d like to have it saved at my last setting, for example, 1080p with no watermark.
Now I’m considering to order Zino mini pro, so is it the same bug in settings, or settings can be saved in this drone?

Hi Hubsan company and users. I just received my Zino mini pro and have updated the firmware. A question about the app, is it not possible to activate the FPV without taking off the drone? Another thing, is it possible to capture photos and videos without being connected to the app? Thanks

You right, received mail from official support this morning:
To restart the drone is to restore the default. The settings are not saved and the watermark is not added

Ok, since the first people now slightly seem to receive their drones, I want to start exchanging experiences with this tiny thingie:

- Yesterday, both controller and drone requested new updates for the second time in only 4 days. My conclusion: Go check for updates everyday before you leave home and then might have to download the updates over your mobile in case you have only a small mobile plan.

- I already mentioned the malfunction of the gimbal. This problem seems to persist. My drone always starts with a not to the horizon aligned cam, and you cannot calibrate it, nor you can align it while using this little align option on your pilot screen. If this problem persists, I'm going to contact Hubsan Support 🀣, hoping they aren't hibernating any longer...

- My request on the missing propeller blades is still unanswered. I'll give them another day, before I start bugging them again. They actually might have bigger problems with shipping the drones out, so I will not bother too much, even though it is quite unsatisfying, how this whole story goes.

- Inside the setup I've found a switch belonging to the obstacle avoidance that states: "stop at obstacles". But, because they are not stating what else the drone would do if you switch that off, I will not dare to deactivate this switch... Maybe the other option would be: "shred the obstacle into tiny rubble"🀣🀣🀣

- Lastly, I've heared an unknown friend of mine saying that even though the highest altitude is set to 500 meters, the drone will fly 800 meters high before it stops ascending. ...805 meters, to be correct.☺️ Thanks to my unknown friend I can provide you with this information. πŸ™‚

Ok, will keep bugging you with my experiences. :)
