The video fw comes in the same download from the drone's FW.
If you are already updated, you do not need to update. It is not change philosophy, it is logical.

A change in philosophy at Hubsan?

There has never been any need to update any firmware that has not changed.
I proved that weeks ago and have said from day one that it was complete nonsense.

I'm glad someone has taken the courage to dispel the myth.

Yes, it is logical.

But in the accompanying documentations of previous Zino firmware releases (and similarly also in this Forum) Hubsan stated

"Upgrading notice :
Please try to upgrade all of them together,do not upgrade them partially "

even if only parts of the firmware (e.g. camera firmware) were actually changed.

I am not a native english speaker, but I thought this was called "change in philosophy".

Unfortunately, the color flickering is not resolved with Cam-V 0.3.4, on the contrary, the color fades (also seen in live image) lasted twice as long as before.
They are obviously the result of faulty exposure control and occur when the lighting conditions in the image changes significantly.

The X-Hubsan app was finally woken up with V 1.6.5 the annoying WLAN call for connection request and the connection is now faster.

What annoying connection request?
I'm not sure what you mean.
