12v charger

Post by me_24733Rj73H » Fri Jan 25, 2019 5:26 pm

I would like to know if we can use the original charger with a 12v charger for car at 15v (ex. For laptop) ... I hope you understood (google translate)
Because on holiday i Can charger the battery with camper or boat at 12v.
Thanks!

Yes it works fine.
A car battery is nominally 13.5V.
Use that when the battery is off charge.
The Stock charger is rated up to 15V input.
To be honest, you're better off getting a decent charger and throw the Hubsan one in the trash can.
Any half decent hobby charger with a DC input will work just fine in your camper or boat.

Look at my post. I did one. Straight from the car plug doesn't work. It's only 12.5v. You need a step up voltage converter to get it to 15v.

Interestingly, Hubsan is now offering a "Zino Portable Version" that includes their own car charging adapter.

How about that! They're very much taking in our feedback.

Mine works fine in the car and in my boat.
Only 12v (or 13.5 as I said).
No need for any converter with the stock charger. ;)
