ZINO in the Cold

Well, it's winter in the north and here in Chicago temperatures are in the 30's f (0c)
I am sure this is below the recommended temp range for the ZINO
Nevertheless, intrepid flyer that I am I was flying my little white bird above the great white expanse of snowy snowy landscape when I encountered a lot of shaking in the video. My guess is that the thermal cooling is inhibiting the powering of the polymers that stabilize the camera housing.
I'm just wondering if anyone is flying in cold weather and having similar problems or if I'm having a graver problem than I think.
