A couple of days ago I made a thread showing an analysis of the camera firmware changes on the Zino.
This showed alot of improvements in static images and where i pixel-peeped for changes in sharpness, colors and compression.
However, you can only show so much in a controlled (and dull) environment like that, so I wanted to make a real world scenario that truly shows the improvements.
I traveled to a place called Lindesnes in Norway which has a lot of beautiful landscape and mountains at sea level and I feel like the drone captured this beauty perfectly. I absolutely love it after the new firmware.
The first scene at the coutry side is quite unrelated to the beautiful images at the lighthouse, but I wanted to include it since it shows the improvements in foliage. Both scenes were captured on the same day.

Although the photos have improved a bit, it still has poor quality.
Here is a comparison of a video capture and a photo.

I think it's fair to say, that it is pointless taking any photos.
If you just shoot video during your flight, you'll have 1800 images of comparable or better quality, for every minute you are recording

WOOWW VERY NICE WORK HUBSAN.... BUT now: low compression, and (raw) file please
this drone is changing, it gets better and better. congratulations
now post 3 pic.
1:normal (I had to lower the quality, because the forum did not charge me)
2: post process and upscale 150dpi in Photoshop.
3: zoom details, with difference.

With what software did you edit the photos? Photoshop? Mac, Windows? Is there any app for Android that does a similar job

I used photoshop, rescaling, I did with the increase of dpi, and the Artificial Intelligence 2.0 special function. Color correction, through RGB channels. On android you can modify them well with the app, pixlsxpress of autodesk. Free.(but not with rescaling).
