After connection and bonding, I hold the controller/phone and make / circumscribe a circle above the drone

When I had that issue I went back into settings, controller and checked the connection and go through it again, once connected go back to main settings page and check that you are binded then run the accuracy test and you should be good.

During power on of Zino and Tx, the comnection of Cp to Tx it will ask for GPS accuracy test. Cancel and skip it even if you have 6 or more sats. Instead go for the manual GPS test on the settings and start your. Gps accuracy test there. This works to me all the time, it seem that during the start up the Zino has not achieve the gps lock and need some time to lock thats why i suggest to cancel it. I suggest Hubsan on the next Update of X Hubsan apps, the gps accuracy test during start up must be remove. Instead it should be replace a messege to calibrate the zino. Then after calibration next messege is to perform the gps accuracy test in manual. Just an idea, because this sequence never fails me on my android phone

Could be your device (phone) or the Zino, the warning just means they don't agree.

...also, set the gps accuracy timeout to 30 seconds (max)

When I tell you that you are more than 5 meters from the drone, calibrate the compass of the drone and hang up to do the test.

Hello Lemark ,

Kindly choose the open place without interference to get the GPS and walk around with your phone, keep the less 5 meters distance from the Zino to Pass GPS accuracy.

Only pass the GPS accurancy,Then you can enjoy tracking mode ,waypoint function and so on .

I ALWAYS skip the GPS accuracy test.
I don't even understand why it's there :o
It's a completely pointless routine.
The position of the quad is clearly shown on the screen, and so is the position of the phone.
It takes approx 3.5 microsecs to cross check them and determine whether they are within 5 metres of each other. :o

The only issue I see with the GPS is the long acquisition time occasionally.
I'm assuming that I've just lost Almanac and ephemeris data, just like you did with the 501 ;)
That's understandable as the quad was no doubt sitting unpowered for several months and the rechargeable cell will be dead (after approx 15 days and takes 100 hours to fully recharge :-) ).

All in all the Zino is performing really well, with simple quick start up (Android).
Apart from the waiting for power-on and GPS acquisition, it can be in the air within a few minutes.

Accuracy test is buggy. very often It never accept the accuracy unless restart the app again and again. It reduces the motivation at the begining of flight. Takes time to hang on this problem. I think accuracy test is ponitless should remove this test.
