Hi all,
I'm totally new, so be patient with me! What happens if in modyfing the cable I do not use the Jst cable to charge the battery but only the positive and negative cable? I mean: open the cable, find positive and negative, attach the banana plug and put it into the charger not using the balance charger output?
Thanks in advance
The charger will give a balance connect error (at least mine does).

I also do not see why you would want to do that. The whole point of using a balance charger is to make sure that the cells will not get out of balance which in worst case scenario might result in a cell getting overcharged and explode.

It is very easy and cheap to make a balance adapter like the one in the photo, You can even do it without soldering if you use a ready made 3S balance extension cable and splice in the main charge leads. You can buy 5 of those extension cables on the Chinese websites for +/- €2.- shipped.

So that looks like the Imax B6 is charging up to 4.30V per cell, 0.05V lower than the supplied charger?
No, the Imax B6 charges up to 4.35V

The photo was taken with the battery measurement function on a battery that was charged with the Hubsan charger two weeks previously.
Thanks, that's good to know. ;)
