Zino major issues. No wifi showing or connecting
I have just purchased the hubsan zino. Flew once and then updated the firmware and disaster.
Not showing up on wifi
In the app you cannot attach or fund the zino.
Basically it's a dead duck in the water.
When powered up just 2 blue flashing lights on the front and 2 solid red lights on the rear.
Also red power light on side constantly flashing.
Absolutely gutted as it was my Xmas present and can't use it!
Help needed please or it's getting returned on Wednesday

Follow the video tutorial of hubsan how to update it is easy. try reformatting the card to fat 32 and just put the two corresponding files of the camera that is the last step to make. Turn everything on as the manual says and look for the zino network and you should have even described if you use android or iPhone !!.

In the ZINO Firmware Upgrade video they say that the LED on the side flashing red means that the firmware upgrade is in progress.

Hi
I have the same problem. What I did manage for the moment is to connect just my phone to the drone. I’m waiting for response from Hubsan but it seems that the new firmware for FC can’t connect to the remote. Try just using your phone, connect to drone wifi then open app. This should connect like H501A I believe? Range isn’t great but at least you can use that to fly for now until the next firmware update which will hopefully cure this bug

If the red light flashing is the firmware updating then my drone is permanently updating
Re: Zino major issues. No wifi showing or connecting
After my upgrade to the latest version i also could not get my phone to connect to the app. If i left the screen alone i did get a error message about not being able to access data on my phone. After many tries i decided to remove the app and reinstall and all was good. Phone connected with no issues.
Something to try.

Ok. To start with, thousands of people are updating, and flying, their Zino w/o any problems. So,let's stop blaming the quad,or Hubsan.
The update process is quad silly, but it MUST be done in order, and EXACTLY the way described.
1. D/l update
2. Unzip it into its parts(there are 4)
3. Remove Zino Battery, plug up Zino to laptop
4. Open update application, the open up f/c firmware. Unplug zino
5. Once complete,insert battery,replug Zino into laptop,turn on Zino,then do gimbal f/w
6. Unplug Zino,turn Zino off
7. Reformat SD card to Fat32
8. Copy the TWO camera files and paste to SD card
9. Insert SD card into Zino, then turn it on
10. When red light quits flashing, turn Zino off, remove SD card, reformat, and replace into Zino.

Have attached a small video of the drone. Have followed all the procedures. When powering up the drone with the newly formatted as card inside it just constantly flashes for ever.
