Controller disconnects in flight

• Im furious with this issue. I’ll be flying perfectly and then I lose total control of my Zino and my display on my iPhone se shows no connection and the display is frozen. Eventually the drone goes it to recovery mode and lands I’ve checked the cable between the controller and phone and that doesn’t change anything indicating a loose or bad cable.
  I have to turn the controller off and on to get a connection back but only works sometimes.

At what altitude this happens? Mine disconnects sometimes above 100 m. I dont fly higher due to intermittent connection issues.

Had this happen to me twice yesterday, the first time at only about 10 metres of the ground and 10 meters distance. Both time it returned home but i lost all the video i had recorded

I got disconnects when I got notifications in the background e.g. facebook, email etc. So I enable quiet time now before flights so no interuptions

I know some also enable flight mode but I have no internet (so no map) with flight mode on as I cannot force mobile data in flight mode on my phone.

At what altitude this happens? Mine disconnects sometimes above 100 m. I dont fly higher due to intermittent connection issues.

I could be hovering 15 m and it still does it.

Yep sounds about right. It shows plenty of satellites everything looks good and bam disconnects. It never just comes back even moving the cable. I have to reset the controller and then it will reconnect and sometimes it last longer than other times

I’ll have to try that. Ive even tried forgetting all my WiFi networks.

I've had the same issues using an iPhone Xs. Last flight I got out about 10 meters and then disconnect and RTH. This happened twice, so I shut down and reconnected both times. If it happened a third time I was ready to give up and put it away. Inexplicably, the third time, using the same start up procedures, it worked great. Infact, I flew out over 500 meters with no issues and no drop outs on FPV either. Connecting to a drone shouldn't be this difficult. It gives you no confidence when flying, because you're always worried about a disconnect. Let's hope Hubsan improves this with firmware upgrades.

By quiet time i assume you mean you put the phone on silent so you don't get any notifications

I think he means do not disturb on the iPhone not sure what is on the other phones
