Carry Case for Hubsan Zino?

Post by imwarren » Sat Dec 22, 2018 2:21 am

I received my Zino ordered from Indiegogo this week. Upgraded firmware (latest as of 20 Dec 2018), then flew it three time without issues.

Wondering if there is a carry case i can buy to better house and transport my drone?

and... when will the spare batteries be in stock? Looking forward to getting a few spares to increase flight duration.

Good info but would prefer a Zino case but we have to do what we have to do!

I bought a Mavic case from eBay. $34.00usd. They have a yellow one and a blue one.a little trimming and it's great.
Just search "Mavic hardshell cases" on eBay. You'll see it.

I have quite a few small padded bags (originally used for storing removable hard drives from the 1980s :-) ) that are exactly the right size for the Zino and controller. I couldn't ask for a better case :D
If I hadn't had those, I'd trawl the charity shops for an old padded camera bag, or splash out on a cheap Mavic Bag.

ic... so Zino is larger than Mavic pro? Hence the need to trim the foam?

I bought this case which is for a DJI Mavic Pro and the inside filler is made of Styrofoam. I had to trim each section to allow all to fit but it works for now. More expensive cases have a liner made of materials that can't be trimmed so you need to find the one that you can trim.

Here's the areas highlighted that I had to trim.
