New Zino Owners

Post by 3108vibhash » Wed Dec 19, 2018 8:08 pm

With so many issues reported after the updates I think following tips may be be helpful for the new users. Although these are basic things which all drone users may know but thought to put it here.

- Try Zino with the stock firmware first to make sure things are fine.
- Update the firmware exactly as mentioned in the vidoe. Do not do partial updates , update everything again even if there is update in one firmware.
Look for the latest update on website.
- Try zino in wide open areas first as there are several reports of toilet bowl effect, unsteadiness etc. DO NOT TAKE RISK (as they are still updating things).
- Always do compass caliberation before the flight. I tested caliberation with actual compass once to make sure it is matching and no toilet bowl so far.
- Test all the function at low height (RTH, orbit mode etc) before flying long distances.
- Try to record your screen ( there are free app on android, Iphone already provide this function) and video if possible when flying so that we all can share feedback if anything goes wrong.

Hopefully this will be a useful topic for new users and it can help them from our experiences. Please add any other input. Hubsan team if you have any more suggestions please share here.

Thank you for this information as I was wondering if you had to do all again or just the one. I did all three to be safe and had toilet bowl problem and that made me think that I should of only done the one.
Thank you for reassuring me.

My Zino flys pretty well and my camera works pretty well but I want the camera functions unlocked so I am debating about just upgrading the camera firmware.
Life truly is short and can change in a heartbeat!

Mine flew well upon unboxing. Then I did all the updates........and........everything works as it should. Unlocking the camera functions was a real blessing.
Go for it. Enjoy my friend

Can use AZ screen recorder , DU recorder. There are multiple apps. However, I use game launcher provided by samsung. It lets you record and do commentary while playing games. But you can add Hubsan app to it and it will let you record everything.
