ITS GONE - RTH FAIL AFTER FIRMWARE UPDATE

Beyond gutted. Ive been through so much with this drone and its just gone. Completely uncontrollable after update. RTH sent it in the wrong direction. At 400m dropped out. I got in my car and went looking. Never reconnected. No support available to help me locate it.

Sorry fot that. Was RTH working at lower heights, i am wondering whether its compass gets messed up during flight even though if it was working fine before. I have not tested with latest firmware and now i am afraid to try. Probably will do a short flight.

just had the same problem after update but was able to get it to land i watch the drone drift away couldn't control it. won't fly again back in box for a refund...

I have just posted on facebook about this! Mine froze at 300ft earlier and once I selected RTH it wanted to toilet bowl and fly away. I went manual again but I couldn't get it to lower altitude so battled between RTH and little forward flight to bring her down

Exactly the same thing happend to me two a few days ago. Ive been in contact with Hubsan, i have send them the logs but still waiting on feed back. This is ridiculous.

It when into rth but look at the coordinates! The ocean and this is also after the update!

To me the RTH button works well before and after the last update. I can order RTH and even chase it and regain control of the zino without any problem.

When you trigger the RTH yourself, yes you can stop it.
But if the RTH goes off by itself, because of the fact that there is just enough battery to reach the starting point, there you can not stop it, that's what happened to me. As the height of RTH is not adjustable (Grrr Grrr), it returns to the horizontal of the last point in flight, and if there are trees on the trajectory .... well you put yourself in the trees !! Like me !! Grrr Grrr

My first flight after the last update v1.0.44 I had to calibrate the compass four times and reboot the Zino to get it to hover without toilet bowl, but when it got to about 20 to 30 meters high it started to toilet bowl and tried to take off. I had a hard time getting control of it and getting it to land.
That was also my last flight. Now I am scared to fly it.
