Somehow I'm not satisfied with the image quality of my Zino, the pictures seems to be out of focus.

Is that normal? Or is there a technical issue? The lens I cleaned clean before starting.

The JPG Compression is also too strong.

Dear Hubsan-Ailsa,
I am quite disappointed with the pictures of ZINO.
The sensor is an 8 megapixel (3840x2160), but the compression ratio is really too strong!
The sizes of the photos in "Mo" are often very low, abnormally low ... and strongly disparate.
It is essential to reduce the compression to be able to exploit the photos in a better way.

I agree, none of your photos on DRIVE exceeds 950 KB !! This is not normal for 8 mp.
It's really too much compression ...

Hello MarkusGaugg,

For the issue of the picture out of focus,Kindly check if the gimbal will shake once it power on ,If the gimbal don't shake ,then to check if there have fog in the shot screen.

It has nothing to do with the gimbal. Every video I have seen is soft. I have yet to see a video that is in focus or not heavily compressed. Where are the 60mbps that is stated repeatedly? All the videos are taken at 44mbps, that is a 25% difference!!
And the MP of the sensor, it was asked repeatedly in the Indiegogo campaign for the sensor resolution and Hubsan never gave a straight answer. Just said it is a Sony sensor. And let everyone speculate.

What about compression setting? Can it be adjusted somehow?
Can you add RAW support?

The heavy compression, be it still image or video, of the Zino is really quite odd and unnecessary, considering SD cards have been getting cheaper and cheaper over time (or, if you put it the other way, you are getting more and more capacity for the same money).

In the thread "Pink Screen in App and Video" a user posted a Dropbox link to what apparently is an unmodified video file from the Zino recorded in 1920x1080. Video codec is MPEG-4 AVC (H.264). The bitrate of the video stream is about 12 MBit/s.
In comparison, video recorded by my good old H501S (not the S-S) is also 1920x1080 MPEG-4 AVC (H.264), but the bitrate of the video stream is about 17 MBit/s !

Agree with poor picture quality. Even in big files the pics are blurry and strong compression. This drone cannot be used to click good pictures, videos were good when u tried it.
